The answer should be d It is exposed wall (NOT) sheltered wall

But It may be easier to not survey this house if you get it as it sounds like a bl**dy nightmare.

Hi
As a humble DEA i reckon the same as ian it has a part heat loss floor over the alley
and i cannot see any sheltered wall only a heat loss wall on the ground floor running the length of the alley

Well I would suspect you are both right, but hey im not the ABBE girlie that will be marking the exam.

The answer is d) purely because houses have no assessment for heat loss floors - this only applies to flats. The exposed (or sheltered) wall would form part of the lowest occupied floor Heat Loss Perimeter.
